Merry Christmas from our family to yours!!

We spent Christmas morning opening gifts and watching Luke and the twins play with their new toys. Then went for Christmas walk. It’s a family tradition now!

It’s been a busy holiday season for this Chicago family. But I wanted to share what we’ve been up the the past few weeks. Especially some fun pictures we took of the twins around town.

Our Family Photo with Santa at 900 N. Michigan

We finally took pictures with Santa at the shops at 900 N. Michigan a week ago! Right in time for Luke to tell Santa what he wished for. The twins were too scared to sit with Santa. We felt bad for Santa to have two crying babies on his lap so Charlie and I joined the annual photo was Santa.

Hanging Out in Santa’s Sleigh at Park and Field

A few weeks ago we stopped by Park and Field, a fun restaurant with a vintage sports vibe in Logan Square, to check out their Christmas market and tree lot. We loved the whole set up of the restaurant’s patio, which had a sleigh! It was the perfect setting for Cruz and Levi in their GapKids snow suits.

Finding our Christmas Tree at Gethsemane Garden Center

We were not planning on getting a Christmas tree this year because it probably wouldn’t be safe for the twins or vice versa! But we figured didn’t feel like Christmas without one. So we headed to Gethsemane Garden Center in Andersonville on Saturday, took the Little Tikes Cozy Coupe to the Christmas tree lot, and picked out a small tree. It was fun to re-enact the Cozy Coupe picture that we took of Luke 6 years ago. Except this time, we didn’t put a Christmas tree on top of the Cozy Coupe for fear that the tree might fall down and hurt one of the twins.

I wanted to share some of these fun pictures of the twins pushing the Cozy Coupe around a Christmas tree lot in Chicago! I just love this picture of Cruz pushing the Cozy Coupe and Levi with his hands up. I think this is how the next 18 years with them will look like.
