I can’t believe Luke officially finished kindergarten. It seemed like just yesterday that I wrote a blog post about him starting kindergarten. It’s bittersweet as he’s growing up so fast while I still see him as my baby. More on that in a future post.
With the end of the school year though, we have been looking for summer camps around the city. It just seems like the next logical step since we want Luke to have an active summer. There is so much for Luke to do that it’s been hard to find pick but Luke has expressed interest in soccer. So this week, I signed him up for a week of summer camp with the Chicago Fire.
The Chicago Fire is Chicago’s major league soccer team that also offers youth summer camp in Chicago and around Chicagoland. The location in the city is at the CIBC Fire Pitch (3626 N Talman Ave, Chicago, IL 60618) and where Luke will be attending. He can’t wait to learn new soccer skills.
If your child is interested in soccer camp or you are still deciding, here are a few things about the Chicago Fire Summer Camp that you should know:
Where is the camp located
There are over 200 locations across Chicagoland and the Midwest (IL, MI, IA, WI and IN). To find a location near you – check out this link. Again, the location in the city at the CIBC Fire Pitch.
