I went to Paris for the first time in 2008 and came back admiring everything Parisian and French. I slowly discovered I’m a Francophile and I don’t have a problem with it. I have so many Eiffel Towers in my home, it’s ridiculous.
We stopped by La Fournette Bakery & Cafe after visiting the Vivian Maier exhibit at the Chicago History Museum last week. La Fournette is a French bakery in Old Town that comes pretty close to a French bakery. I love how the employees greet you with a “bonjour” when you walk through the door. If you’re in the neighborhood, stop by to eat some French pastries and treats.
