It’s been awhile since my last post. Things have gotten a bit busy and I’ve neglected the hobby I enjoy so much.

In March, we took a family vacation to the south of France, mainly Nice. Ideally, we would have loved to go during the peak spring time but we wanted to go before Luke turned two so we can avoid paying a plane ticket for him. Hey, we’re just trying to save some money.

Before I go into French Riviera, I wanted to share some pictures of the Carnaval de Nice We just happened to land in Nice the day before Mardi Gras and got to experience the parade and celebration. This was the 130th year of the Carnavale de Nice and the theme of the carnavale was all about gastronomy. We were lucky enough to get tickets for this final parade. I was in awe on how extravagant the floats were. Luke didn’t seem to care about the parade. He wanted to play and run around and finally got tired and fell asleep. Hopefully he will enjoy it when we go back…one of these days.
