I post tons of pictures of Luke on Instagram, and I love reading the comments that people post. One friend posted that she’s always amazed with my pictures of Luke. My response…”He’s my muse. My pictures wouldn’t be anything if he wasn’t in them.” And it’s true. Taking pictures wouldn’t be as fun if it was just of objects or buildings. Luke gets my creative juices running. I can just imagine taking pictures of him in all different settings. But most of the time, what I plan and what actually happens are two different things. A toddler is never going to stand still or do what you tell him. I have learned to just go with the flow with him. Here are some of my favorite pictures of Luke in 2014. My resolution for 2015 is to continue to take more pictures with my DSLR, improve my photography, and post more on my blog.

Location: Crown Fountain. Luke did not like the water until we started splashing. This was the moment that he finally realized how fun playing with the water at Crown Fountain really was.

Location: University of Chicago. This was the moment we were about to enter the library. I really had to keep Luke quiet because this library is the coolest library I’ve ever seen.
