Always dreaming of Paris. This is one of my favorite spots in Chicago. We normally keep our bike rides closer to home with our @schwinnbikes but the other day I pretended I on the streets of Paris with a flower basket and all. The Mendocino electric bike helped with the extra distance so I can look Parisian chic for some pics at this Parisian metra stop 🚲💁🏻‍♀️. I plan to ride to places in Chicago that remind me of Paris with this cute and stylish Scwhinn electric cruiser. Last month I got the chance to see the @broadwayinchicago show - @teatro_zinzanni and absolutely loved it! It’s like a cabaret and circus and you get to enjoy dinner while you’re watching the whole thing. It was such a unique experience. So happy Broadway shows are back! But first a coffee date that turned into a city exploration that ended in lunch date. I had the day off yesterday and met up with @sdamiani (who also took the first picture) yesterday. It felt like the good old days of Instagram of exploring the city and taking pictures and lots of talking about everything and nothing at the same time. Luke’s retro Orange Krate @schwinnbikes has Charlie and me wishing we were kids again. I remember thinking how cool this bike was when I was a kid and now Luke gets to enjoy something similar. I’m a bit jealous - the Sting-Ray style frame, the kool orange, the banana seat, the handlebar! Bonjour, enchanté! Ça va?
I will be continuing my French language classes at @afdechicago this fall and the twins will be joining me but taking the “French for Youngsters” classes (via Zoom on Saturday mornings). I’m excited to watch them learn a new language. They are sponges! Or should I say “eponges”? 🧽

Fall classes are starting on September 13 (both on-site and online classes). @afdechicago also offers free trial classes and an open house before that to help you decide.

This house is at the end of an alley near Ping Tom Park in Chinatown. We got tired of waiting for the train and walked back to our car and then spotted this urban jungle. We weren’t sure if this is the front or the back of the house. But I was sure to ask Charlie to take a picture of me. 😹 Thank goodness for long, slow moving trains. Too bad the boys didn’t get park time 😬 #chicago

I have many titles in addition to "mama". I'm these boys' cruise director, personal assistant, cook, therapist, mediator, stylist, and most importantly lifeguard.

As we are preparing to go back to school this year, I want to make sure it's a safe and healthy year for Luke, especially when it comes to curbing the spread of COVID-19. @shield_illinois is partnering with school districts in Illinois to provide non-invasive and highly accurate testing options for both kids and faculty.

Talk about peace of mind and helping my role as a lifeguard to Luke as he goes back to school!
