We hosted Luke’s 1st birthday party at Kid City. Lisa and Lauren from Kid City were great to work with. They are very organized with set up and clean up, and kept me calm the entire time. Our guests love Kid City because there are so many toys and things for the kids to do and use their imagination. We like the location of Kid City because there’s plenty of street parking and it was close to home.
The theme of his birthday party was Mustache Bash. I just love mustaches lately and figured Luke’s party would be the perfect opportunity to do a mustache theme. Da hubs even grew a real mustache for the party!! We were so happy all our friends and family came out to celebrate Luke’s birthday. Luke had a really good time. It wouldn’t be a party without our friends and family.
For the party, I made a photobooth using chevron pattern paper from Paper Source, cut out mustaches and bowties as a garland, and the pre-made props from a Paper Source template. That’s as crafty as I get. I purchased all other party stationary from Etsy. I’m really glad we hired a professional photographer (Anthony Pardilla) to take photos of the birthday boy, guests and photobooth. So all I had to do was mingle with the guests. Who would’ve thought throwing a first birthday party can be so stressful?
